Each trainee must identify at least one mentor who has a track record of current or recent funding and the resources to conduct the proposed research. Both mentors must demonstrate commitment to the trainee. A plan for securing funding for an optional third year of training should be described within the mentors' letter of support and the Career Development Plan (CDP). Mentee must be employed by mentor as a full-time employee with pay and benefits for at least a month prior to TL1 Award at their institute.
