I am a recent graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, majoring in Biology. While at VCU I worked with Dr. Vijay Lyall in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics on the research project “Cyclic-AMP Regulates Postnatal Responses to NaCl in Rats.” In Dr. Lyall’s lab I gained experience in molecular biology techniques and behavioral testing specifically taste preference studies. I recently joined the Sandberg lab in July of 2016 and am involved with Dr. Sandberg’s immune regulation of blood pressure studies and Dr. West’s pregnancy studies.
